Hi, I'm Claire. Mum of three and former high school English teacher. After years in education, feeling overwhelmed and over-worked, I decided it was time for change. I needed to show up for my children in a less-stressed way than I was.
I didn't have anyone to talk to about my concerns or questions leaving my teaching career and I often wonder what choices I might have made differently had I had someone who understood, to talk to. I became a franchisee of MiniMe Mindfulness and have learned a lot over the years about business.
This year, I launched The Relaxed Mind, my very own breathwork and coaching business. Leaving the teaching profession wasn't an easy decision, especially as my husband is still a teacher! But it was definitely the right choice for me. My life has been less stressful and more fulfilled ever since.
Hi, I’m Sarah. With nearly 20 years of experience in education, I’ve helped countless students secure places at some of the UK’s most prestigious day and boarding schools
In 2021, I decided it was time for a change. As Head of English, I loved the classroom, but I wanted more freedom and flexibility. So, I took the leap and launched my own tutoring business, Aster Tuition—and I haven’t looked back.
Early on, I realised I didn’t want to be tied to the typical tutoring hours of evenings and weekends. I wanted a business that worked for me and my family. That’s when I discovered international tutoring, particularly in Southeast Asia. It allowed me to choose hours that suited my lifestyle while building a successful and fulfilling business.
Now, I work on my terms, and I’m passionate about helping other educators achieve the same transformation. That’s why I created my mentoring programme for tutors. It’s designed to give educators the tools, strategies and confidence to grow thriving businesses, attract high-value clients and achieve the freedom to work when and how they want.
Through my programme, I’ve helped tutors step into the international market, increase their income and regain the work-life balance they’ve been craving. Watching others succeed is just as rewarding as building my own business—and I’m here to help you take that next step.
This event is for you.
